During the month of May, the institute hosted five promising young men and women from Ghana, where they were formerly introduced to the principles of the INH. They were then sponsored to come to The Village of Peace where they received conflict reconciliation training which focused on the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King and practices of the Village of Peace.
They were very moved by the knowledge the learned from the training and the experience of participating in the culture of the Beloved community. By the end of their sojourn they were eager to take their experience back home to share and apply the principles and practices they received, which is the goal of the INH. Plans are underway to further their training and open a conflict reconciliation center in Ghana as an extension of the INH. The INH is looking forward to assist in this endeavor.
